It me

Congrats to all of yesterdays winners! Unfortunately I didn’t make the cut, however I did enjoy meeting so many people, and am happy to have spread a positive vision for the district. Special thanks to all who supported my campaign (especially my wife and kids who constantly deal with my crazy ideas haha). Life is full of chapters, on to the next one.

Alright, we are in the home stretch. The primary election is tomorrow (May 3rd)! I've enjoyed meeting many folks in the district over the past few months. It is clear that, regardless of party, we all share similar hopes, fears and concerns.

If you care about issues my campaign has prioritized (expanding rural broadband, legalizing cannabis, supporting public education, affordable housing, affordable childcare, veterans, seniors, and farmers) I ask that you make it out to the polls, request a Democratic ballot (it won't hurt, I promise), and vote Coler!

If you live in LaGrange county you must vote at your designated precinct. If you are in Steuben county you can vote at any location listed below. Be sure to bring your ID (and your friends/family)!

Northern Indiana Democrat refuses to be dissuaded by unlikely Statehouse win 05/01/2022

Proud to be related to Dee Moore for Indiana State Representative. Keep fighting the good fight, Dee.

“Moore said she first ran for a public office when she realized that many legislators are more interested in victories for their party on a national scale than the desires of their constituents. It’s no coincidence the same type of bills appear in multiple states at once, she said; it’s part of a national strategy. She said nationally rooted partisan competition detracts from the work legislators can do in their states.”

For those of you unable to make it out to the event last night, below is a recap from the local news:

Enjoyed speaking at the Meet the Candidates event hosted by the LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce this evening. Spreading the message of cannabis legalization, expansion of rural broadband, and support for public education. I’m in a tough primary, get out to the polls and cast your vote!!

Rural Broadband - Jestin Coler 04/25/2022

Rural broadband is a lifeline for remote communities. The lack of access to the internet for rural households in Steuben and LaGrange counties is restricting growth in the area, putting our children behind their peers, and must be made a priority. As your Representative, I will prioritize the implementation of AFFORDABLE and reliable rural broadband.
