One of the weirdest parts of healing is realizing you miss people who hurt you.

Not because the pain wasn’t real. But because your brain got attached to the moments of relief in between it.

That cycle of hurt → comfort → hurt again can become emotionally addictive without people even realizing it.

Missing someone does not automatically mean they were good for you. 🌸
