BREAKING: Burger One Customer Caught in the Act Over Extra Sauce
ANN ARBOR, MI — What began as an ordinary lunch rush at Burger One quickly turned into what witnesses are now calling “a sauce chase”.

According to staff, the customer — later identified only as “Mike from down the street” — initially requested one extra sauce cup. When informed that he had already reached the complimentary limit, the man reportedly paused, stared at his burger, and quietly replied, “I respect your rules… but my fries do not.”

Surveillance footage shows the suspect pacing near the pickup counter, checking over both shoulders, before attempting what authorities describe as a “high-risk condiment maneuver.” Moments later, the man was spotted with sauce on his lips, shirt, and — according to one shaken employee — in places sauce simply should not be.

Authorities pursued the suspect for two blocks, guided almost entirely by the trail of sauce and a smell that witnesses say “could only come from Burger One.”

Fortunately, no burgers were harmed during the incident. All sauce cups have since been returned to their rightful place. The suspect was released after agreeing to pay for additional sauce and promising — in writing — to never underestimate Burger One’s sauce policy again.
