Our Story

Based in the department of Health Behavior and Health Education in the University of Michigan School of Public Health, the Engaging, Managing, and Bonding through Race (EMBRace) program is an 8-week culturally-based therapeutic program that empowers African-American youth (ages 10-14) and their parent(s) in Detroit to confront racial trauma and stress together.
