Remote notarizations allowed during coronavirus pandemic, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer rules 04/09/2020

A lot of people have asked about estate planning recently (shocking, I know). Until now, the issue was how to execute any documents that required notarization or witnesses, like medical/financial powers of attorney and wills.

With the signing of the new Executive Order, effective immedietly, we can now witness and notarize documents using video technology, such as Zoom.

We're contining to work (mostly remotely) through all of this, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions; we're here to help.
