Let me reintroduce myself because I have a lot of people who forget or simply do not know what I do. I am not fond of my entire identity revolving around what I do so I am not as vocal as I should be, so I have finally created a separate page just for real estate!

Hello my name is Erica and I have been a practicing Realtor for 9 years. When people ask me why I chose real estate, the answer goes deeper than just loving houses. It’s rooted in a personal promise I made to myself in high school when we lost our home.

Growing up, my mom worked hard to provide for us. I remember the excitement we felt when she bought our first home in Texas, but that joy quickly faded. The house ended up needing far more work than we ever expected, and the inspection that should’ve protected us failed to catch critical issues. We were left struggling, heartbroken, and overwhelmed with repairs we couldn’t afford. Watching my mom go through that after putting her trust in a real estate professional lit something in me.

I told myself that none of my family or friends would ever have to go through that. In college, I decided to make real estate part of my degree. I didn’t just want to help people buy and sell homes, I wanted to educate them, protect them, and be the kind of agent my mom should have had. Every client I serve is a chance to keep that promise alive. This career is about more than contracts and closings. It’s about creating safe, confident, and empowered homeowners.

I am a mother of two amazing kids who think I break into houses for a living. I love to give back within my community and have created and nurtured two groups that allow me to do that. I have a women and mothers group that engages in getting moms active by friendship, parenting advice, help with hardship or assisting with community needs. In 2024, our family got heavily involved in animal rescue, and we have proudly rehomed over 100 animals this year. If you end up with a new house and a new furry friend do not blame me!
