Gun violence is never the answer. We are neighbors intent on building stronger communities. Assassinations are making us numb to the tragedy that every day 125 people in America are killed by guns. That's not a statistic; that's 125 families shattered, 125 futures erased, and 125 empty seats at dinner tables. Behind every number is a story of a life that mattered. Gun violence is not inevitable. We can and must do better.
