Why hasn’t Cooper been adopted yet? 💔

Cooper is still waiting for his person… and we honestly can’t understand why.

At 13 years old and standing 34 inches tall, Cooper is the definition of a gentle soul. He greets you in the sweetest way—especially at breakfast time, when he loves to “chat” and remind you it’s time to eat. It’s hard not to smile when you’re around him.

Cooper is a bit of a shy guy. Some days he’s all in for attention, and other days he quietly asks for space—and that’s okay. He’s learning, growing, and figuring things out at his own pace. He came from a life where he could do as he pleased, so adjusting to structure has been a journey, but he’s trying. And he’s come such a long way already.

He may not be a fan of the halter at first, but once it’s on, it’s like a switch flips—he becomes willing, cooperative, and does everything that’s asked of him. He just needs someone patient and kind to help him continue building that trust.

More than anything, Cooper needs his own person. Someone who understands that the best relationships take time. Someone who will see past his shy moments and recognize the incredibly sweet, loving horse he truly is.

He doesn’t need perfection—just patience, consistency, and love.
