Basic Pistol – Level 1
This course is an introduction to the basics of how to safely operate and shoot a pistol. We focus on safety fundamentals, providing an overview of the different types of handguns, ammunition, basic maintenance and proper storage. You will learn how to properly stand, grip, aim and shoot a pistol proficiently and accurately.

This SB2-compliant two-day course provides the required training for those seeking to acquire a CA CCW permit. Topics include firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, self-defense firearm basics, legal use of force, developing a personal and home protection plan, violent encounters and the aftermath, gear and gadgets, basic and advanced drills, and live-fire qualification.
