a great start to the month 🎄

When I thrifted this hot pink trench coat last summer I was a little weary at first…

Why? It was $60 (😳) and it was missing its belt (🤔)

But I have to say, it is hands down one of the best thrift purchases I’ve ever made.

🩷 I love the pink colour, so I knew I’d keep reaching for it
🩷 It’s oversized (which I wanted) so I can layer a lot
🩷 Never have I ever missed the belt, I like it unstructured
🩷 It gets compliments galore, probably for being a bright beacon in our grey, dreary rain and winter season
🩷 Coats are an essential piece living in the PNW

So here’s a reminder that when thrifting, go with your gut and take a chance. It may become your favourite wardrobe reach.

This week has been filled with team dinners, work sessions, an excursion and lots of sunshine.

It’s been years since I’ve stayed at a resort but packing for conference room mornings, beach/pool afternoons, off site adventures and evening dinners was a nice challenge from my typical remote work attire. 🧳👡💃🏻💄👙
