Over the last few days I've dialed in a good pattern for these snapper. When the conditions line-up, the bite is hot and heavy but unfortunately it doesn't last long. My problem lately has been pulling hook. I get a good hookset, have the fish off the bottom, then pull hook. You can't let them eat because of the pilings. Getting them up fast is the key but I think the heavy pressure I put on them is ripping the hook out. Who knows?!

Brandon Knox and Henry Zwisler have put in their time and it finally paid off yesterday. Henry had the big fish of the day and Brandon got the final fish. We're glad they finally got a few. I don't think there is another pier that you can have a triple up picture of red snapper. Congratulations again.
