I don’t often speak publicly about current events, but some things transcend business. I’m a mother first. And I was trained as an elementary teacher and in child psychology before I was a photographer. I was a mandatory reporter. I was taught to protect children. Always.

Protecting children, believing survivors, and standing firmly against exploitation and abuse are not optional. It's not political. There are no sides to be taken. These are the moral, human responsibilities we all share. The future is in our hands.

One year of love and bonding and snuggles. These simple milestones are always worth documenting.
