I was walking through the discount marine vinyl section yesterday 11:08am picking up an order of vinyl.
I know this is a long shot, but I figured I’d try.
We crossed paths in the marine fabric aisle at the wholesale fabric outlet in Apollo Beach.
You were pushing a shopping cart with several yards of marine vinyl. I was wearing a mint colored Captain’s Quarters Custom Fishing Shirt and hat, probably looking like I had somewhere important to be when, in reality, I was wandering around the tile aisle for the third time that day because that's what I do.
Our eyes met.
Just for a second.
But there was something there.
You looked at me.
I looked at you.
You looked back at me.
And as you slowly pushed your cart past, I couldn't help but turn around and watch you disappear down the aisle.
I've thought about that moment ever since.
Was it fate?
Was it chemistry, like the sound of a pneumatic stapler?
Were you hoping I would say something?
I'll probably never know.
But there was something in your eyes that I couldn't shake.
Something that said...
“I bought the vinyl myself and now I need someone to recover my seats.”
Maybe I misread the situation.
Maybe you were just trying to find the right thread.
But if you're out there, just know that I felt it too.
I also noticed you had approximately 10 yards of marine vinyl in your cart thinking to yourself if only you had someone who could take care of it instead of handling it yourself.
And please don't tell me you were planning on using the cheapest bid.
Wherever you are, mystery man, I hope you found what you were looking for.
And if you made sure you had everything you needed for the job at hand ...
I was right there. And now I'm just left wondering if you needed help with that big of a job.
Some connections are too important to miss.

Happy Tuesday to all!
First I want to thank you all for the prayers and messages for my mom who passed in May. It’s been an uphill haul since my dad passed in December. Oma and Opa were married 64 years and they are together again.
We are back up running and getting things done.

Tired of your logos ripping out of your seating?

We found new way to include them without the stress of the extra stitches from the embroidery!
They say trouble comes in three’s well within the year I’ve lost my daddy and my momma so if this is true I don’t want to know what’s next!!!
Back to work fully on Monday and getting things completed. Will be in the shop for a few hours tomorrow. Come see me!

While business has been going fabulously and I can’t thank everyone enough about the support and referrals.
Please please please keep my mom in your prayers as she fell and broke her femur and is about to head down to surgery for a partial hip replacement. While she’s in recovery I’ll be balancing her re-hab and dealing with another issue which has been found through all this.
I will as always do my best to get your products to you in a reasonable time please understand if other things get in the way.
I’ll try and keep everyone updated as I navigate these too fresh waters… again.
Feeling overwhelmed and blessed by all the client flow coming in.
Thanks for all your recommendations and referrals. I had thoughts of going back to my old job but I will say that I’m proud to be a part of this community and proud to be able to give back as well.
