Title: Grower

Must be local to the Apopka, Florida area.

A. Purpose and Scope

The Grower is responsible for producing commercially viable plants in a greenhouse environment while ensuring consistent quality standards are maintained. This position supports customer satisfaction by delivering healthy, high-quality plants through effective growing practices and operational support.



B. Responsibilities

Maintain proper daily fertilization and irrigation schedules for all plants.
Monitor plant health and apply pesticides and other treatments as necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized, weed-free, and professional greenhouse environment.
Ensure plants remain healthy and free of pests and disease.
Administer and monitor the piecework program.
Assist with shipping operations as needed.
Oversee all sticking and potting activities to ensure proper procedures and quality standards are followed while coordinating with the Production Manager.
Follow all Worker Protection Standards (WPS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Complete all administrative duties associated with the Grower position.
Perform other duties as assigned.

D. Qualifications

Education and Training

College education preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Technical Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Grower.
Managerial Experience

Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
