Over the last couple weeks, we have been celebrating Sue’s retirement from Fox River Periodontics, and we truly cannot thank her enough for her incredible 19 years of service.
Sue has been with Fox River Periodontics from the very beginning — even helping paint the walls before we ever saw our first patients. She has witnessed this practice grow through every stage and every journey along the way. Her dedication, hard work, compassion, and commitment have helped shape Fox River Periodontics into what it is today.
Sue has more than earned this retirement and some well-deserved rest and relaxation… although we know she probably won’t be slowing down for long!
Sue, thank you for everything you have done for this practice over the years. We truly could not have done it without you. We wish you nothing but the very best in this next chapter of life and hope you enjoy every single minute of it.

April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month 🦷
At Fox River Periodontics, we’re trained to look beyond the gums—evaluating the entire oral cavity for signs of disease, including oral cancer. During your visit, we carefully assess the soft tissues, looking for any abnormalities that may need further attention.
If a suspicious area is found, Dr. Cooke is equipped to perform biopsy procedures to help provide answers quickly and accurately.
We also encourage patients to be proactive—if your general dentist notices an area of concern, don’t hesitate to ask for a referral to our office for a closer evaluation.
Early detection saves lives. Stay aware, stay proactive, and take charge of your oral health.
