2,000 summer kits. Packed. Ready to go. 🩸
Last week, supporters of The Monthlies Project came together to pack 2,000 summer kits filled with period products for young menstruators across NE WI — because periods don't stop when school is out, and access shouldn't either.
And the momentum doesn't stop there. We were also joined by Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford, who issued a proclamation recognizing period poverty awareness and the work of The Monthlies Project — bringing even more visibility to an issue too many young people quietly navigate every day.
The movement is growing.
The stigma is shrinking.
And we are just getting started 🩸

What. A. Night. We cannot thank this community enough for supporting our efforts to end period poverty and ensure every student in our communities has the basics they need to participate.
Now, the moment you’ve been waiting for… drum- or cello-roll (iykyk)… the amount raised on the spot last night: $40,150!
And yes, we know you’re ready for the whole flow. We’re still tracking every last drop and gathering the final numbers. The full total is coming… but like a late period, you might have to give us about a week. 😉
To say we are gushing with gratitude would be an understatement. This is just one powerful period in a much bigger story — more to come soon. But for now… we’ll pause here and soak it all in. 💫
