Community Outreach Center

Provides FREE adult mental health peer support services with WI Certified Peer Support Specialists in a safe, stigma-free environment

Individuals can receive professional mental health service referrals

Individuals can participate in individual and daily group support, healthy social & leisure activities and work towards holistic wellness

Community 2000 Program/Emergency Relief Services

Provides individuals and families in emergency situations with food, personal care, cleaning, apparel and supplies to those in rural Outagamie County

Partner with United Way and other local agencies to provide individuals and families with immediate support

Provide professional referrals to partnered agencies

Located on the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church campus in Seymour, WI

Early Intervention Program-Birth to 3

Provides comprehensive services & support for families and children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays and special needs

Helps families and caregivers gain the supporting tools to assist children to develop and learn skills needed to participate in activities with their families, in their homes and communities

Provides physical or occupational therapy, special education, speech pathology, interpretation services and more

Employment Placement Program

Provides employment search and placement services, job preparation services and temporary work experiences to participants with disabilities

Participants obtain employability and work skills assessments

Helps develop job seeking, planning and application materials (resume, interview prep, etc.)

Participants' abilities and interests are aligned with community employment opportunities

Participants receive on-the-job training and coaching

Employability Skills Training

Provides college campus classroom instruction experiences on UW-Fox Valley Campus in Thrive! Career Academy and other work skills and education experiences at other employer sites

Provides a High School Transition Program through Project SEARCH that rotates students through internship jobs at St. Elizabeth Hospital

Provides hands-on skills learning, community internships, job seeking skills, and community employment and coaching support through VPI

Pre-vocational Skills Training Community-based

Provides individualized plans tailored to meet the participants’ needs to help overcome employment barriers

Helps participants obtain community-based, small group work skills training and coaching support

Participants are able to explore vocational opportunities in various areas (hospitality, food service, office, maintenance, housekeeping, retail)

Pre-vocational Skills Training Facility-based

Provides participants with small group, non-production work skills training, coaching and support

Participants are able to explore a variety of vocational options during community outings

Employment and Literacy Program

Provides basic English language classes to non-English speaking individuals

Helps participants obtain paid work experience and job skills training on VPI's production floor
