I recently read a New York Times article claiming that if you rent instead of buying, you'll save $133,000 over 10 years! 🤣

Why are they sharing this BS?

Misguiding readers into renting vs. buying?

Here’s the reality: Don’t wait to buy real estate.

Buy real estate and wait!

Let me share a personal example.

About 6 or 7 years ago, I had the opportunity to buy a condo for $57k.

I turned it down because I already owned five other properties in that complex, each bought for around $48k.

I thought... I'm over paying at $57k.

That condo is now worth $200k today!

Trying to save $9k cost me $143k in potential gains!

The NYT article conveniently ignores the long-term benefits of property ownership, such as appreciation, equity building with principal pay down, and all of the tax benefits as well.

Instead, it pushes a short-sighted view that may discourage people from making one of the best financial decisions of their lives.

I suspect there’s an agenda behind this article,.....

There’s definitely more to this story than meets the eye.

This one makes me so joyful! The buyer came referred by someONE I met in Las Vegas at convention (pays to network!)...it was a journey to get to an accepted offer, as it always is in this market of the moment, but we were able to get them an accepted offer on this house that closes at the end of the month!
