Yesterday, after 22 years of assisting at AFD, we congratulated Kathy on her well deserved retirement! We enjoyed the excuse to have chocolate cake, but we sure will miss her! Congratulations, Kathy!

Olivia is the 3 year old granddaughter of one of our retired hygienists. She was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome, a genetic degenerative brain disorder in children. It’s 100% fatal and there currently is no FDA-approved treatment or cure. But there is hope! Enough funding of promising research can lead to a clinical trial that could help Liv and other children with Sanfilippo.
