There's going to be a lot of travel this weekend. Some things to keep in mind before you get on the road...

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Hundreds of construction projects are planned across the state this year and we're here to help you stay safe no matter where this holiday weekend or summer travel may take you. WisDOT reminds drivers to plan ahead and be patient on Wisconsin roads and in work zones across the state.

Peak travel times are expected from 12-9 p.m. Thursday (May 21), 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday (May 22), and from 12-5 p.m. Monday, May 25. Most road construction will pause over the holiday weekend to open as many lanes as possible – but drivers may still see some activity throughout the state. Last week we stopped by Multicultural Coalition, Inc. to drop off a donation and ended up being lucky enough to see a walk-in day in action!

They help people with basic needs and work through barriers like language, transportation, housing, and employment. Such an incredible space & group of people!

This donation was raised through our office “Crock-Pot Tuesdays,” where we bring in food and collect donations to participate.

Every year, 105.7 WAPL brings our community together for the annual Xmas Bash... and this year was truly something special. 🎄🎸

We had an incredible night at EPIC Event Center, all while giving back to an amazing cause. Thanks to $1 from every ticket sold, plus generous matching donations from Jack's Maintenance Service and American Platinum, we’re proud to share that $4,000 was raised for BABES, Inc. Child Abuse Prevention Program!!!
