We wanted to give a shout out to Wild & Free Rescue and their foster Deborah for taking one of our moms and all seven of her kittens!

We love when we are able to work with other local rescues - all with a common goal - to help the animals that need it most.

Thank you also to everyone that reached out to foster our bottle babies, we continue to be impressed by our community every day!

This week, our team made the trip to pick up these dogs from Dane County Humane Society, which has been working alongside shelters and rescue organizations across Wisconsin to help place animals from this situation.

🌼 While we're excited to have them here, these beagles are not currently available for adoption, and we do not yet know when they will be. Please keep an eye on our website and social media for updates as they progress and eventually become available.

🌼 These dogs have a lot of learning and healing ahead of them. Many of the beagles coming from this situation have never experienced life in a home and may not be familiar with things most dogs take for granted. They are not potty trained, may be fearful of new people and environments, and will need patient, understanding adopters willing to help them build confidence and trust at their own pace.

Some of these beagles may spend time in foster homes as they begin adjusting to life outside of a breeding facility and learn what it means to simply be a dog.

When the time comes, we will be looking for the right homes, not just the first homes. Thank you for your patience as our staff and volunteers work to give these deserving dogs the care, support, and fresh start they need.

Stay tuned for updates on their journey!

Update: Thank you so much for all of your support! Our foster coordinator is working through emails and voicemails as quickly as possible to get these babies into foster homes!

❗FVHA is in need of bottle baby kitten fosters - ASAP ❗

We currently have 12 bottle babies that need round the clock care - all of our current neonatal already have kittens in their care.

While some of these kittens have mothers, unfortunately due to coming from poor living conditions they are not producing enough milk to keep their babies healthy and strong.

If you are able to assist please reach out to our foster coordinator directly at: [email protected] or 920-733-1717 ext. 115!

Senior kitty looking to retire to a peaceful oasis!

💎 At 16 years young, Sapphire is a true gem looking for a peaceful place to spend her golden years.

💎 While she arrived with a companion, she has made it very clear that she prefers the "solo life." Sapphire will need to be the only cat in home.

💎 She is one of the friendliest cats we've ever met and spends her days roaming about, looking for a friendly hand to offer some pets.

💎 Sapphire does require a prescription kidney diet for the rest of her life to keep her feeling her best. She also recently had an extensive dental, which means she needs soft food only for life.

Interested in adopting Sapphire? Stop in during our open hours to meet her! Questions? Give us a call at 920-733-1717!
