This week has just been one of those weeks. 🫠🫠 After coming off an absolute banger of a wedding weekend, it felt like the shoes just. kept. dropping.

Issues with Gmail & Google Calendars for the bridal suite, timelines I thought I had perfectly nailed needing revisions because I somehow messed up sunset time, bridal suite projects continuing to get pushed back, and doctor visits for my little girl with recurrent ear infections that now mean surgery for tubes in the next week or two. It all felt… heavy. Like I was failing in way too many areas at once. The list never seemed to end.

But last night, I pulled myself out of that mindset and met the sweetest mom & dad for a maternity session, and it completely shifted something in me. The beauty of creating. The connection. The joy of documenting seasons that matter so deeply.

So while the behind-the-scenes chaos absolutely kicked MY BUTT this week, I’m reminding myself of this: we’re human. We mess up. We need rest. We need mental health days. And we also deserve to be proud of how far we’ve come.

Grateful for this little creative life, even on the hard weeks. 💕
