Appleton Fire Department

Tomorrow, the Appleton Fire Department will join the community in honoring those who gave their lives in service during the City of Appleton Memorial Day Parade and “Moment of Remembrance” Ceremony.

This year’s parade will also feature historic Engine 5, returning to a Memorial Day parade route for the first time in 60 years. Retired Battalion Chief Les Kasten, one of the original members from Engine 5’s final parade appearance in 1966, will once again ride in the same position on the apparatus.

We encourage the community to attend and take part in this important tradition honoring service, sacrifice, and history.

This week, we recognize the firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and healthcare partners who provide emergency medical care every day in our community.

Whether responding to cardiac arrests, vehicle crashes, falls, breathing emergencies, or critical illnesses, EMS professionals are there when people need help most.

The Appleton Fire Department is proud to provide Advanced Life Support services to our community, delivering skilled medical care alongside rapid emergency response 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
