This year marks 30 years of friendship for Nick & Matt, becoming friends smoking in the highschool bathroom in 1993. They've both accomplished great things musically together and as individuals.

Their 30 year history of projects together and apart, many more years to come writing beautiful and sometimes obnoxious sounds...

Besides music, we also love to make pizza!

World Pizza Champions competitor brings Detroit and New York-style pies to the Stanford campus Scotts Valley pop-up The Pizza Series lands its first permanent location after Matt Driscoll's 25-year pizza-making journey.

We're deeply saddened of the passing of our dear and great friend of 26 years, Gabe Serbian. One of, if not the best human/drummer/musicians we've had the honor of knowing! Gabe is responsible for the amazing drumming in The Locust & Headwound City as well as the founding member of Cattle Decapitation. We've had the privilege of going on multiple tours with The Locust and Holy Molar and Gabe was always an extreme joy to be around and if you knew him, you knew how kind hearted and hilarious his sense of humor was, a truly amazing human being. We're at a complete loss of words...RIP snarf!

May 1st is Gabe's birthday, he turns 45 today.

The inception of Ruhaeda and this lineup was a brief flash, a few jam sessions and this show at Radio Free Records in 1999 with The Anasazi. Now 22 years later, Ruhaeda as you know them(Jay, Nick, Duwayne & Matt) are still writing music together and will be recording and releasing new material in 2022.

Check out the remastered -Onomotopaeia- track by Ruhaeda! Their s/t LP released 20 years got a full remaster overhaul and will be released on cassette(Zegma Beach Records) and 12" in 2022.
