Simcha Early Learning Center

Last week at Simcha was full of creativity, curiosity, and joyful collaboration across every classroom. 💛

👶 Toddlers stayed busy with hands-on exploration and caring play. Some children helped feed Salsa the guinea pig, showing gentleness and curiosity while learning how to care for animals. Others experimented with grinding eggshells using a mortar and pestle, strengthening fine motor skills and exploring new textures. Baby doll play was also a favorite, with children practicing nurturing behaviors and caring for their “babies” together.

🚲 Preschoolers worked together to create an incredible farm collage as part of their ongoing farm theme. Bike Day brought lots of excitement, and lunchtime turned into a special picnic in the yard so their carefully designed train stations, roads, and parking lots could stay set up for more imaginative play and collaboration.

🌳 Pre-K had an action-packed week too! During Bike Day, the children decorated and painted paths for their bikes, turning the yard into a colorful riding course. They also tasted loquat for the very first time — and loved it so much they saved the seeds to try growing their own tree. Another favorite activity was taking turns spinning and soaring on the beloved rainbow swing. 🌈

🧚 TK/K friends have been deep in creative exploration — building fairy houses, making their own paper, and experimenting with giant bubbles that floated across the yard.

From nurturing animals to designing imaginative worlds, every classroom was buzzing with creativity, teamwork, and discovery last week at Simcha. ✨
