Connecting Through Hope: Transforming Lives Across Borders
At TIP Global Health, we are using lessons learned in Rwanda to address healthcare gaps in California’s Mixteco communities. With only 62% of indigenous women and 24% of men accessing care, we are working to build trust and ensure culturally relevant healthcare is accessible to all.
One of the most meaningful partnerships we’ve developed is with traditional healer Señora Fe, whose wisdom and guidance are helping us bridge tradition and modern healthcare. Her insights remind us that building trust requires connection, respect, and creativity. We were honored to host the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) team at TIP Global Health for a productive and insightful visit. It was a great opportunity to showcase the transformative impact of our E-heza platform on quality primary healthcare delivery, working hand in hand with the Government of Rwanda and Ministry of Health Rwanda to strengthen the health system.
From discussions on integrating E-heza with DHIS2 to addressing challenges such as double reporting and connectivity in remote areas, it was a valuable exchange of ideas. The BMGF team's admiration for E-heza's role in serving the health ecosystem by linking community, health center, and hospital, providing real-time data for decision making, and their appreciation for our ongoing efforts in scaling to new countries like Burundi and Somalia, further motivates us to continue our mission of improving healthcare access and outcomes worldwide.
Many thanks to Melissa Miles, Julie Frye, Mayindo Jean Kagubare, and Mob for visiting us and sharing such powerful insights.
Looking forward to further collaboration with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as we work towards our shared goal of advancing global health.
