ChangetheRx, nonprofit 501(c)(3), receives tax deductible donations to distribute Narcan (opioid reversal nasal spray) to families (at no cost) so that they may keep in their medicine cabinets or emergency kits to protect their loved ones from accidental drug poisoning. Narcan is a life-saving medication that should be kept along other life-saving medications such as asthma inhalers and Epinephrine pens. ChangetheRx believes in change the perception that keeping Narcan at home encourage drug use, rather to keep the life-saving medication to prevent accidental drug overdose.
ChangetheRx distributes free Narcan to Girls and Boys Clubs, music venues, musicians, school sports Booster Clubs, Universities, libraries, gas stations and PTSAs (Parent Teacher Student Associations).
