Dublin began production in 1891 when founder Sam Houston Prim visited Waco Tx and discovered a fountain soda Called Dr. Pepper and new he wanted to bottle it at his new Dublin Bottling works company. While they no longer bottle Dr. pepper they still have a host of sodas produced the same way with Real cane Sugar! Even when other company's began to switch to high fructose corn syrup as a sweeter in the 70's, Dublin stayed true to their recipe and stood by their product.
