Last week, the NextGen Roundtable: DC Youth Summit gathered students from public, charter, and private schools across the region to share insight and search for solutions regarding affordability, taxes, housing, and AI.

Students were introduced to policy and community leaders during the expert economic issues panel before reflecting on actionable steps they can take on issues facing communities across the nation's capitol.

Special thanks to Eleanor Daugherty and her team at Georgetown University, Prince George's County Public Schools, Fairfax County Public Schools, Bard High School Early College DC, Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools, Columbia Heights Education Campus, District of Columbia International School, Friendship Collegiate Academy, Holton Arms School, James Madison High School, Landon School, MacArthur High School, National Cathedral School, Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Phelps ACE High School, Poolesville High School, The Field School, and The Potomac School.

We'd also like to thank the following panelists for bringing this experience to life:
- Brianne K Nadeau*, DC City Council
- Sharon Wilson Geno*, National Multifamily Housing Council
- Rebecca Dixon, National Employment Law Project
- Sanya Bahal, Bipartisan Policy Center
