S. Walter Reed St. Construction Work: Crews have been busy rebuilding the west side of the intersection of South Walter Reed Drive and 9th Street South. From Thursday, February 26, to Friday, March 6, flaggers will guide traffic through the work area between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays.

South Walter Reed Drive will narrow to one lane in both directions. Flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection. This work supports the installation of a new four-way traffic signal, expected in late summer. Afterward, the project will move on to reconstructing South Walter Reed Drive between 5th Street South and Columbia Pike.
