Today I’m unboxing LEGO 40864 Fortune Master, one of the most unique LEGO releases of the year. Inspired by traditional Lunar New Year celebrations and the legendary God of Wealth, this colorful display model is packed with gold coins, lucky symbols, hidden details and even interchangeable eyes.

LEGO included a hidden storage compartment inside the model to store extra facial expressions. The design is inspired by Caishen, the Chinese God of Wealth, who is believed to bring prosperity and fortune during the Lunar New Year.

I finally received the LEGO Ideas Tintin Moon Rocket 21367 and this might be one of the most unique LEGO display sets ever released. 🚀

What makes this model so special is that Hergé’s famous Tintin Moon Rocket appeared in the comics “Destination Moon” and “Explorers on the Moon” years before humans actually landed on the Moon in 1969. Many fans consider it one of the most recognizable fictional spacecraft designs ever created.

This LEGO Ideas set includes 1,283 pieces, five astronaut minifigures, Snowy the dog, and a stunning red-and-white rocket that stands an impressive 46 cm (18 inches) tall. The rocket became a reality thanks to a fan submission through LEGO Ideas, proving once again that LEGO fans can turn their dream builds into official sets.

The bright red and white checkerboard pattern wasn’t chosen by accident. It was originally designed in the comics to make the rocket instantly visible against the dark background of space and has since become an icon recognized far beyond the Tintin fandom.
