Wadsworth Control Systems
The University of Kentucky Research and Education Center at Princeton features six brand-new Stuppy greenhouses—all controlled by the Wadsworth Seed control system. The Seed system provides full control of all six independent zones, including Wadsworth automatic shade and heat-retention curtains, as well as the corridor used for inlet air.
Each zone is equipped with standard greenhouse evaporative cooling and variable-speed exhaust fans, allowing precise fine-tuning of environmental conditions to meet the researchers’ specific needs. The system also modulates LED grow lights to maintain targeted PAR light levels.
All system data can be seamlessly shared with the main campus through BACnet integration.
