Stave + Horn

This is the side of trying to stay a woodworking business that I feel like gets left out. It’s easy to show the wins and the finished products but the reality is more like this. Hand sanding HDF panels for an hour straight after the kids go to bed because they have to be at the finisher the next morning. That’s real.

It’s already a lot of work and a lot of unknown, but I am loving this so far. The freedom is great and the reward is fulfillment.

There is a lot to learn. There is a lot to do. I’m here for it.

Ever wonder how a chess board comes to life?

There is no real point to this clip besides trying to play with lighting and sound out in the shop. I want to have some of the more meaningful projects be filmed in a way that comes across a little more cinematic.

As you can tell, I have no idea what I'm doing. I wish I could have the dust collector on but the sound was worse. Anybody have any tips?!

Your marking tool matters.
There are 100 ways to mess up your project but one of the biggest ones is compounding errors from
measurements. Simple errors like this eventually add up and can cause gaps and pieces to go out of square. Granted, the level of accuracy depends on the project, but definitely choose the right one!
