Pretty cool lineup at the shop. Mixing it up.

Just because it always happens. If you are not logging your temp and pressure, don't even comment telling me your other oil is better. If you have no other data other than your engine hasn't blown up yet, don't comment.
I've always ran oil in my cars and recently a lot of people were swearing by the Valvoline vr1. I ran my racecar on it since day one. Since day one, I've had oil pressure and temp issues. The oil gets hot really quick and when it's hot it thins out and pressure drops to unsafe levels.
I switched it to Mobil1 and immediately noticed it doesn't get add hot and my pressure is significantly higher all the time. That confirms I'll never run vrq again unless it's on my grandad's pushrod engine.
I wish I would have gone with what I know is good from the start. I wouldn't have had these issues at Cota and other track days.
I ran my turbo 2ar on Mobil1 from day one and even though it's turbo and makes double the power the oil never got as hot or as thin. That convinced me to switch the racecar and I'm glad I did.

I've built 2 of the best respective MR2s around, this next build will eclipse them all.
The aw11 is one of the fastest 1st gen mr2s ever built. With exceptional handling and great power and a really cool retro livery, it checks all the boxes needed for a racecar.
The sw20 has all the power you'll need for cruising the street and going to meets, looking good and sounding good in every way. Great balance for a are car.
This 91 sw20 will be better and faster than both. Records, necks, and hearts will be broken.
