Last week, I said to Greg "It's time for another foster", and I think he said OK cool, but I wasn't really listening. 😬

Anyway, off I went to Soul Dog Rescue, and came home Tuesday with this adorable 6-month old, 30 lb. Lab mix nugget named Rockii.

A little bit about Rockii 🐾

About 4 months ago, Rockii (along with his momma and 2 other pups) were found living as strays at a gas station on the Navajo reservation in Chinle, AZ.

The dedicated volunteers of Soul Dog rescued them and brought them to their shelter where Rockli has lived ever since (that’s more than half of his life already).

Described to me as "extremely shy" and "shut down", I met Rockii for the first time last weekend. He trembled in my arms so hard that both of our bodies shook. 😢

I knew instantly, he needed out.

Rockii has been with us for just two days, and the transformation has been unbelievable. As it turns out, this "shut down" puppy is actually a funny and playful zoomster who loves other dogs and a soft, warm lap to cuddle up in.

So, if you're looking for a sweet, gentle pup with a big ol’ side of silly, this little man is your guy!
