Fall in the Field

We have some sad news to share today. As many of you may have already heard, the Environmental Education Master’s Program is being discontinued as a part of Southern Oregon University’s recent realignment plan. The program will continue to serve out our current and last cohort until graduation in December 2023, which will include one final Fall in the Field season.

While the current iteration of the EE program is ending, there are already talks for a reimagined environmentally-oriented master’s program in the future. We are sad to see it go but hopeful that the University will find a way forward that includes the fundamentally important work of our program in some capacity.
Thank you all for your support, participation, and excitement over the years. Stay tuned as we “sunset” our program by celebrating the history of the incredible people and places it has reached.

FITF is back!! Cohort 15 is hard at work putting together another wonderful set of outdoor environmental education programs for 4th through 8th grade classes in Southern Oregon! Registration opens May 8th 🎉🎉🎉

There is so much that our outdoor classroom can teach us! When we take a closer look at Fall in the Field we see things like we’ve never seen them before🍄👀🍂👀🪺👀
