An update on hotels.....
Last years Choice/Sleep hotel has changed names and is now an IHG Hotel named "The Austinburg Hotel". The new link is below. It is a dog friendly hotel(for a fee) and the closest hotel to the event/tent area. The front desk number is 440-275-6800.
The other hotel(Holiday Inn Express) shares a parking lot so it's still very close. Front desk is 440-275-2020.
Both hotels have a 24-36 hour cancellation policy.

Our Event will be Friday and Saturday with dinner each night being AYCE Lake Erie Perch and Walleye with all the fixings. Drinks are provided as well. Saturday will include a guided ride to our local bridges and bars and wineries with last stop being on the legendary GOTL, The "Strip".

Following Saturdays dinner a special event that may involve the special burning of a bridge due to "Codemans" complaints last year of not seeing a single bridge burning!!! We will definitely correct this problem this year!!!!!

Some have mentioned they may be coming in on Thursday, if enough people come in we will arrange a winery/distillery/ brewery tour for Thursday evening giving you all of Friday to recover.

Cost of the weekend is $50 a person. Cant make it the entire weekend? $25 a day.

Lastly, we are holding a raffle for this event, winner recieves tickets for 2 and reimbursement for their 2 night stay,(A $400 value) to be drawn Friday evening following the dinner. Ticket are $20 a piece. See any member or view previous posts on this page for more info.

Yesterday a few rode to Charleston to visit the "Charleston 9" Memorial.
In June of 2007, 9 FFs gave their lives performing their duties while fighting a fire in a furniture store. Following the fire the way we inspect and walk through buildings changed forever.

Rest easy men, because of your sacrifice, we are all safer today. We will all continue to honor what happened to you that day.

Ashtabula taking part in Myrtles meet n greet. Daytona patched in a new member and we all got to see some familiar faces.
