It was "just a nightmare"...........
Heart racing, chest pounding,...eyes scanning, respiration increasing, ....beads of cool sweat clutching to my skin....fear escalating.
Body paralyzed ~ fear escalating. ...unable to speak ~ fear escalating. What did I see?? What did I feel?? What did I sense? ?
I awake. ......it was just a dream.
A horrible dream... one of many where you live..hiding in the darkness... hiding in the weak part of my mind... only to torment me in my hours of peace!!!!
I have conquered you in the light of the day... but at night you still have dominion...I will hide from you in the light...until darkness has no power... until my dreams again become my own.
