Thank you for the years of fun.
Thank you 'cause you're sad it's done.
I do love that, but I for one
Ain't sad. I'm glad!
It was the longest job I've ever had.
Don't get me wrong. It wasn't bad,
I learned a lot by doing this.
But I will give a goodbye kiss:
To rising earlier than nine
Being nice to people all the time
Nicer than I really am,
Even when they're tryna scam;
The money, they can have & take
They can have my chocolate cake
I guess they need it more than I!
Or maybe what they really need
Ain't really cake or pie.
It might be something you & I
Have had from birth until we die
Confident trust in our own self
For a human, or a dwarf or elf,
That trust comes from being heard.
Boy or girl, or cat or bird!
My heart is warmed from deep within
When my friends are listenin'.
So I try to understand.
Boy or girl, woman or man.
I forgot to add; not being mean,
Even someone in-between!
Give the benefit of doubt.
Let the person talk about
Whatever's up inside their mind
While I chew on some melon rind
Or I might stroke my favorite pet

Portable amps
And magic lamps
'cause I know where to get 'em.
From dragons.
They p**p 'em if you pet 'em.
Not really.
That's silly.
But just wait a few
