The program under the direction of Phytos Stratis featured patriotic songs by the Pancyprian Choir, narrations and poetry recitals by young students from the St. Demetrios Greek School of Astoria who paid tribute to the fallen heroes who sacrificed themselves to liberate Cyprus from British Colonial rule.
