First, a quick update: if you're waiting on a gallery from me, please know I am actively working through the remaining ones. I know waiting isn't fun, and I genuinely appreciate your patience. I promise they are coming. Until then, here are photos of my oldest graduating. (It was a long road for us, trust me.)

Now for the honest part.

About five years ago, I started photographing student athletes and school events. What began as a way to preserve memories quickly became something I loved. As a former student athlete myself, I understand how quickly those moments pass. Being able to capture memories for students, families, and clients became something that meant a great deal to me.
Over time, opportunities grew, and so did my workload.

If you know me personally, you know I've always been the type of person who says "yes." If something needs to be done, I'll figure it out. For a long time, I wore that as a badge of honor.
But somewhere along the way, I lost balance.

I was so focused on showing up for everyone else that I stopped showing up for myself. I neglected my own health, my home, and my family. I convinced myself I could keep adding more and more to my plate because that's what I had always done.

Eventually, that caught up with me.

My anxiety increased. My mental health suffered. I became exhausted. Deadlines became harder to manage. While I always cared deeply about the work I was producing, I wasn't operating from the healthiest place.

That's on me.

One thing I've always promised myself is that when I recognize a problem, I will address it. So that's exactly what I'm doing.

I'm taking a step back from some work commitments at school and refocusing on what matters most: my family, my health, and creating a sustainable balance that allows me to continue serving my clients well.

I don't want to be the busiest photographer. I want to be a photographer who consistently delivers quality work, preserves meaningful memories, and serves people well for years to come.

If you've trusted me with your wedding, your senior, your family photos, your graduate, or any special moment in your life, please know that trust is never taken lightly. I am incredibly grateful for every session booked, every recommendation made, every kind comment shared, and every person who has supported this business.

This little business has given me so much more than photographs. It has given me friendships, opportunities, and a community I never expected to find.

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your support. And thank you for allowing me the grace to be human while I continue growing, learning, and striving to be better.
