Prom Shop

Almost here!

Reminder: The Prom Shop is a ministry of Christ Community Church and follows the church’s beliefs, guidelines, and core values. God created us as males and females. He was not confused and He did not make a mistake. So, please understand, we will not be allowing girls to get tuxedos, nor guys to get dresses. Males will not be allowed in the girls dressing areas. Females will not be allowed in the boys dressing areas. We ask that you respect our guidelines and we are looking forward to serving you at the largest Prom Shop yet! God bless!.. Pastor Jeff

Reminder to everyone, the Prom Shop was created for high schoolers to have the opportunity to dress up for their high school prom. We recently opened up the shop for those in middle school, but high schoolers have the priority. So, only high schoolers attending their school’s prom are permitted in the Prom Shop. 8th graders, your time will be from 1pm to 3pm. We will not make exceptions for any reason. ALSO, we’ve had to make a rule change starting this year: YOU CANNOT PICK OUT A DRESS OR TUXEDO FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT IN ATTENDANCE. You must be present to get a dress or tux. Why? We typically have close to 500 kids coming through and this year will be the largest prom shop yet. Dresses fit everyone different regardless of the size. Therefore, they must be tried on. If a dress or tux doesn’t fit right or if a student doesn’t like it once they’ve seen it, we cannot take the time to go back through the process again with the person picking the dress out. That’s why we have dressing rooms to make sure everything is just right before you leave. Please understand, we have a lot of kids to help and so, this new rule must be enforced. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
