April 22nd is National Library Outreach Day! A common comment we get while tabling or programming throughout town is "Oh my goodness, you're like...EVERYWHERE!". We love spreading library joy throughout our town! What is your favorite surprise librarian spotting?

This year we partnered with Lay Park, Athens-Clarke County Trails and Open Space, Athens Creative Theatre, Clarke County School District,
Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services and several local community groups or nonprofits!

This week, April 19-25, is National Library Week, an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. This year's theme 'Find Your Joy'. How has a library added JOY into your life?

Have you noticed the colorful bulletin in the lobby? The library hosted a paper marbling table for the after school kids a few weeks ago. The art turned out so good we decided to display them for everyone to enjoy. At the library, we don't mind getting our hands a little dirty... as long as it's not on our books. ;)
