Athens Police Department - Alabama

Earlier this morning we held the most special swearing-in ceremony for 7-year-old Jace Dennis.

Jace is a brave organ transplant recipient and a student at Athens Renaissance who loves police officers more than anything.

He’s become great friends with School Resource Officer Pike and has always said he hopes to be a police officer one day.

Well, today was that day.

Thanks to Magic Moments, today was officially proclaimed Jace Dennis Day in the City of Athens and Officer Jace reported for duty in full uniform!

And he wasted no time getting to work.

Officer Jace has already made several arrests today... including Municipal Court Judge Eddie Alley!
