Rain. We like you

One year ago today I bought my first waffle iron and fryer, and it might be the best $60 I’ve ever spent.

The past year has taken me from Buffalo to Florida and everywhere in between. From learning how to restore a rusted van to creating scrumptious chicken and waffles, it has been quite a rollercoaster of an adventure.

I spent quite a few pennies, a handful of restless nights, but to carry out a dream it was so worth it.

I’ve cried twice during the process, and one of those times was today. It was an overwhelming feeling to look back and remember all the good days, and bad. To be thankful for all the people who have come around me and encouraged this dream.

The goal isn’t just to create chicken and waffles, but to spur others to realize that dreams are real, and YOU are capable of making your dream come alive, and in creation there is so much joy.

I’m sooo grateful for you following along this journey with. Let’s dream together to make this world full of unique creations.
