A great way to learn about land conservation from a team of experts that really care, including Athens Land Trust, and GA FarmLink, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and many others.
This is an excellent program.
Through GACD’s Feral Hog Control Services, Conservation Districts across the state are working with trained Hog Control Custodians to help landowners reduce feral hog damage and protect Georgia’s natural resources.

Best of luck from GAFarmLink and Athens Land Trust
Please join us in wishing our Regional Program Manager, Leanne Hopper, the best of luck as she competes this week for the Georgia Farm Bureau Achievement in Agriculture Award at the Georgia Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Summer Leadership Conference in Jekyll Island!
Leanne and her family own and operate Southern Cuts Processing & Meat Market in Pitts, Georgia. Their hard work, dedication to agriculture, and commitment to their community have earned them the opportunity to compete for this statewide recognition.
We are proud to have Leanne as part of the GACD team and are excited to cheer her on as she and her family represent their operation this week.
Good luck, Leanne and the Hopper family!

This is amazing, upwards and onwards.
🌱 This spring was one for the books at Global Growers Network.
216 growers welcomed across 93 garden plots. Nearly $100,000 raised at A Meaningful Feast. A 2026 Slow Food Snail of Approval Award — top score in Atlanta. New irrigation and a pollinator garden at Rockdale Organic Co-Farm. 5 new board members and 5 new staff joining the mission.
None of this happens without you. Behind every plot, every harvest, and every market stands a volunteer who showed up and a donor who believed.
Check out our full Spring Seasonal Report at globalgrowers.org/impact
With your support, we can continue to grow this impact: just $100 sponsors a garden plot for one family, producing over $1,000 worth of fresh, culturally significant food. Give to your local growers — link in bio or globalgrowers.org/donate . 💚
