UGA Washington Semester Program

Meeting up with our friends from in DC is always a home run! For our second GT/UGA meetup of the semester, we watched the Braves take on the Nats- thanks to all for *braving* the rain delay! is in full swing! ⚾🏟️🌭

Our first two seminars were a success! On 8/28, students from UGA and Georgia Tech heard from WSP alumni about what to do now that they are in DC. On 9/2, our students heard from about the role of their office in DC. Some major takeaways were:
• It’s ok/expected that you will ask questions
• Networking is essential
• Your classmates and other students are necessary connections
• Be the intern who takes on the smallest tasks
• What we do in DC enhances the student experience
