This message is for all the Summer Camp Parents: Thank you for working with us Thursday during the rain/storm. Our staff goes above and beyond to make sure campers are safe.

The visitor center at Sandy Creek Nature Center will be closed Friday, June 19 in recognition of the Juneteenth Holiday.

Our parking lot, trails, and playscape will remain open.

Mud Day is coming up this Saturday June 13th from 10am-Noon. With all the recent rain, we have plenty of mud!

Mud play is free and open to all ages. Participants MUST wear closed toed shoes that fit tightly on their feet-no flip flops, no crocs, no bare feet.

A wash station will be provided at the Education & Visitor Center to clean up before heading home.

Good day! We are asking for help. We could use old t-shirts (clean) and old sheets (clean, solid colors) for camp. We are using the items for a special project called The Camp Wishing Tree and some amazing fort building.
If you have these items, you can make arrangements with Michelle Cash at [email protected] to drop the items off at the nature center.
