Three hours. One house. A stairlift and four bathrooms, done in a single visit.

Watch AJ Wall and Mason Irby install a Harmar SL600 on a twenty-foot rail in a home near the UGA campus, while Blake Wall works the bathrooms. What you are seeing is a full accessibility upgrade, not a single machine dropped on a step. Because that rail is long enough to reach across the room at the bottom of the flight, the base folds up and out of the way when nobody is riding. No tripping hazard. No blocked doorway. The stairs work for the rider and they still work for everybody else in the house.

While AJ and Mason set the lift, Blake was rebuilding four bathrooms in the same house to match, because independence does not stop at the top of the stairs. It runs through every doorway, every threshold, every place a person has to reach, turn, or step down.

This is what a real accessibility project looks like. Measured, done right, handled by people who do this every day, in and out in an afternoon, with the family’s house handed back to them working better than it did that morning.

Here is everything else we do.

πŸͺœ Straight and curved stairlifts, indoor and outdoor
πŸ› Grab bars, transfer poles, and bathroom safety
πŸ›— Vertical platform lifts, residential elevators, and through-floor home lifts
β™Ώ Modular and custom wheelchair ramps
πŸšͺ Automatic door openers
🚐 Commercial and residential vehicle lifts for scooters and power chairs
πŸš— Driving aids and hand controls
⚑ Mobility scooters, power chairs, and Complex Rehab seating
πŸͺ‘ Postural and transfer seating
πŸ₯ Patient lifts, recliner lifts, and ceiling track systems
πŸš‹ ADA lifts for trains, transit, and school bus fleets
🏒 Facility accessibility upgrades and ADA compliance

When one part of a house stops working, it is rarely just one part. Stairs, bathrooms, doorways. We handle the whole home in one project so the family gets one crew, one plan, and one afternoon instead of five contractors and a summer of dust.

πŸ‘‡ Comment the room that has become a problem in your house. Stairs, bathroom, front step. We will tell you what it takes.

πŸ’Ύ Save this for the family conversation you know is coming.

πŸ‘ Follow the page. Real homes, real crews, every week.

There is a room in that house nobody talks about anymore.

It is upstairs. It has a bed in it and forty years of photographs on the dresser and a window that gets the good light in the afternoon. At some point, quietly, without a family meeting or a fall or anything so dramatic as a decision, it became a room in somebody else’s house. The stairs took it. Fourteen feet of hardwood and gravity, and they won without ever raising their voice.

Mason Irby took it back.

This is a Bruno Elan by Bruno on a straight rail in Alpharetta. Three hundred pounds of capacity on a machine that folds down to twelve inches wide. The rail hugs the wall within five inches, so the grandkids who take those stairs two at a time still get their staircase.

When a Georgia thunderstorm takes the power out at nine at night, the machine does not care. It charges anywhere along the rail and keeps going in the dark, ten round trips or better. At the top, the seat turns and locks, so a person stands up facing the hallway with the floor under both feet and the stairwell somewhere behind them where it belongs.

Most people call us the week after the fall. The smart ones call the week after the diagnosis. The staircase is the most expensive fourteen feet in the American home, and the invoice only arrives once.

Here is everything else we do.

πŸ‘‡ Tell us in the comments which room in your house has gone quiet. We read all of them.

πŸ’Ύ Save this and text it to the sibling who keeps saying you will deal with it later. Later has a phone number now.

πŸ‘ Follow the page. Every week, another house, another staircase, another room somebody gets back.
