Day 6 out of 42 days in Costa Rica. I am beyond grateful for an amazing experience. I’ve learned so much already about myself and traveling, and I couldn’t ask for a better place to go for my first time leaving the country. Keeping social media updated has come to a halt because life happens and priorities change. New job, new friends, new direction. Life has changed but my dream hasn’t. I know exactly what I want, and I am taking the small steps I need to take before I achieve my goals. I have been focusing on being present and enjoying where I am now instead of getting antsy and thinking a new destination will change my whole perspective. Focusing on being present helps to make your vision clearer and figure out any gray fuzzy areas. A new destination will change your perspective to an extent, but no matter where you are in life physically or mentally, you are in control of your happiness. If you can’t enjoy the ride, then how do you expect to enjoy the destination?
